This position reports to the Office Manager.
A Gilroy based commercial vehicle safety consulting company is growing and wishes to add a part-time administrative assistant to the team.
This is an in-office position.
We deliver regulatory compliance and insurance claims services to the transportation industry.
The candidate would provide administrative support to the team members.
Duties will include filing compliance paperwork, monitoring/updating compliance resources, updating online manuals, training video editing, answering phones, and message taking.
In addition to our safety and compliance services, we also partner with insurance companies that insure transportation clients.
As part of that partnership, we assist them with loss control risk management services and provide technical assistance during cargo and property damage claim investigations.
Must Have:
Access to internet and computer for occasional remote work.
A valid California Drivers License.
Reliable transportation to the office for regular in-office work.
Minimum Qualifications include:
A high level of attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication with excellent grammar and composition skills.
Proficient in English.
Responsible, reliable, and punctual.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work effectively both within a team and independently.
Self-motivated with strong time management.
Competency in Dropbox/Box and all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
Good organizational skills.
Proactive, pragmatic, and resourceful problem solver.
Desirable
Qualifications:
Social media/marketing skills desirable.
Tech-savvy and quick to learn new concepts a plus.
Knowledge of Moodle, WordPress, and Canva valuable.
Examples of Job Duties:
Create certificates of completion for attendees of our webinars and training classes.
Update clickable table of contents and PDF pages in our resources/handouts.
Update our newsletters and manuals, digitally and in person.
Manage paper and digital client files.
Upload client compliance files to our RMS portal.
Copy content to USB drives.
Update our resources, QR Codes, flyers, and promotional materials using templates provided.
Update our published training content in Moodle.
