We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Landscape Assistant and gain the first hand experience you have been searching for!
Responsibilities:
Attend client estimates alongside the lead, taking detailed notes during consultations.
Assist the lead in preparing estimates, learning the intricacies of cost calculations and project proposals.
Develop client communication skills and foster positive relationships with both clients and designers.
Learn and participate in the design process under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Organize and maintain job information, ensuring accurate and efficient project tracking.
Monitor and manage job materials, keeping inventory and procurement processes streamlined.
Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on project progress and addressing inquiries via email and other channels.
Collaborate with city officials for permit acquisition and compliance.
Research, select, and recommend suitable plants for various landscaping projects.
Aid the lead in time management, handling calendars, and act as a proactive problem solver to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications:
Enthusiasm for landscaping and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with clients.
Eagerness to develop design skills and expand knowledge in landscape architecture.
Familiarity with permit processes and regulations is a plus.
Proficiency in basic computer skills and software.
Knowledge of horticulture Drivers License Bilingual (Spanish/English) Ability to travel to Gilroy, CA Why Join Us:
